Mrs. Retta Alston, 75, a lfie resident of the Veedersburg community died 8:45 p.m Monday Jan 21, 1963 at Alward Nursing Home, Attica. She had been a patient there since April 1961. Born Aug 3, 1887, in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Philp and Arminda Booe. She married March 17, 1903 Howard Alson who preceded her in death July 21, 1961. She was a member of Veedersburg EUB Church. Survivors include a son, Carl of Bay City, MI a sister, Mrs. Irma Harper of Danville, 4 grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter and son. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. J Samuel Pritchard officiated. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery.
